Albion
A leader in the caster industry out of Michigan, Albion produces light duty, medium duty, heavy duty and kingpinless casters with many different wheel types to choose from.
- Albion 01 Light Duty Casters: A sturdy light duty caster with a single ball race design that is economical yet dependable. Typically used on furniture dollies, bakery racks and laundry carts these casters feature a formed steel top plate & yoke for strength and durability. Wheel sizes are 2”, 2 ½”, 3” and 4” and come in soft rubber, hard rubber and Polyolefin. This caster can be swiveled or fixed and the swiveled wheel can have a brake option included. Capacity up to 300 pounds.
- Albion 90 Heavy Duty Series: Made from AISI 1045 drop forged steel this caster is highly recommended for use in rugged applications. Typical uses include heavy duty power drawn equipment, high capacity table dies, portable work benches, machinery dollies, heavy fixtures or jigs and heavy portable storage racks. Casters come with an AISI 1045 drop forged steel top plate and swivel for strength and reliability. Wheel sizes are 4”, 6”, 8” 10” and 12” and come in many wheel materials including Mold-on rubber on cast iron, Polyurethane on aluminum, X-tra soft round tread, Trinox, cast iron, drop forges steel and thick tread Vulkollan. This series of casters offers capacities up to 4800 pounds.
Bestway Casters & Wheels
Since 1975, Bestway has been dedicated to delivering high quality products at competitive process. Manufactured in Gromley, Ontario and Laval, Quebec, Bestway casters have earned a reputation for dependability and superior performance.
- GH/GHR Series Top Plate industrial caster: With a double ball race and extreme stiffening on the fork sides this is one of the strongest and most dependable casters available for 2” face wheels. Typical uses are in the garbage container and sandblasting industries where rough usage is the norm. With gold colored dichromate zinc plating this is an attractive looking model. This caster can optionally include a heavy duty total lock brake that will lock both the wheel and swivel with one push of a pedal (not available on the 4” model). Wheels are 2” wide with diameters of 4”, 5”, 6” and 8” and wheel material options of Phenolic, Laminated Phenolic, Ductile Iron (crowned), Star-tech Urethane and Solid Elastomer (crowned). Capacities up to 1650 pounds.
Darnell
Darnell Casters was founded in 1921 and has always been recognized for superior quality and exceptional performance. Darnell’s specialty is an advanced elastomer wheel with no possibility of tread separation caused by bond failure between wheel and core. Their AE wheel can withstand severe impact caused by extreme shock loading and will not chip, crack or chunk out.
- 80 Series / A100 Series: These casters include a zinc plated steel or corrosion-free stainless steel construction. The wheels have high impact resistance, excellent abrasion resistance, good heat resistance at elevated temperatures, resistance to fuel and chemicals, low rolling resistance under maximum load and no flat spotting under normal load and temperature. Wheel treads are 2” wide and come in diameters of 3”, 4”, 5”, 6” and 8” with choices of bearings (Delrin, Ball, roller and Precision ball). Capacities up to 1200 pounds.

In business for over 55 years, Shepherd Caster Corporation designs wheels and casters for a variety of OEM markets. They pride themselves in their excellent design, global sourcing, quality manufacturing and environmental responsibility.
- Shepherd Baron Series: These casters from Shepherd are ideal for furniture, fixtures, medical equipment and office equipment and have double ball Bearing Raceways for smooth motion. The 2″ Model is heat treated for better wear, has a hard synthetic spherical Polyolefin wheel, and the finish options are Bright Chrome, Metalized Brass, and Windsor Antique for a very pleasing look. The units can even be RoHS complaint upon request. This series of caster has a capacity of up to 80 pounds.
