They Do Not Consider the Casters’ ‘Rollability’ or Their Braking Needs
The first and most important element in deciding the type of caster you need is an understanding of the task you expect your caster to perform. Casters may look like simple little wheels, but the engineering behind them can be extremely complex. For example, the bearing on your casters will is extremely important. A heavy item with eight casters is easier to maneuver than one of the same weight but with only four.
