How do I calculate the caster capacity I need?

Add the cart weight and the maximum load, divide by three (not four: on uneven floors one caster is often off the ground), and add a safety margin of 25 to 30 % for shock loads or towing. Our 60-second finder does this for you.

When should I choose kingpinless casters?

When the load is towed, sees impacts or rolls over dock plates and thresholds. A kingpinless raceway spreads the load over a larger bearing surface, so the swivel section does not loosen or fail the way a kingpin can under shock.

Which wheel is best for a concrete floor with debris?

Polyurethane on iron or aluminum protects the floor and rolls quietly; ductile iron or forged steel carries more weight but marks concrete. Tell us the floor and we recommend the tread hardness.

Do you ship heavy-duty casters outside Florida?

Yes. We ship from Miami to all 50 states and prepare export documentation for Latin America and the Caribbean. Freight is quoted with the order.
