Pneumatic or flat-free?

Pneumatic gives the softest ride and highest capacity per diameter but can go flat. Flat-free polyurethane foam never punctures and needs no maintenance, at a slightly firmer ride. Semi-pneumatic sits in between.

Why does capacity drop on pneumatic wheels?

Air-filled tires flex under load. Manufacturers rate them lower than a hard wheel of the same size so the tire does not overheat or crawl on the rim. Size up if you tow or roll long distances.

Can I replace just the wheel on my existing rig?

Often yes, if the axle size and hub length match. Send us a photo and the measurements and we confirm the replacement wheel.

Do you stock stainless rigs for salt air?
